Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with over four years of industry experience to join a food packaging company in Stockton, CA. This full-time onsite position offers a competitive hourly wage along with a comprehensive benefits package.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on manufacturing equipment, ensuring efficient production operations.
- Work any assigned shifts including overtime as necessary.
- Lift up to 50 pounds regularly as part of job duties.
- Pass interviews with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production teams along with a practical electrical skills assessment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years experience in industrial maintenance, ideally with 5-7 years preferred.
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical, Mechanical or related field is preferred.
- Food industry experience with knowledge of GMP standards is desirable.
- Proficient in troubleshooting controls and electrical systems using wiring diagrams and test devices.
- Capable of setting up and calibrating electrical hardware.
- Skilled in diagnosing issues with relays, switches, thermocouples, RTDs, and sensors.
- Completed training programs in safety procedures.
- Experience repairing and troubleshooting process equipment is essential.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
- Three years minimum experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and fix vibratory feeders, drives, and flexors.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly wage between $28 and $35.
