Role Purpose
As a Maintenance Technician, you will carry out daily upkeep tasks within a semiconductor cleanroom setting. You will support customers by diagnosing and fault-finding throughout the manufacturing workflow. Adhering to facility procedures focusing on safety and quality is vital. Your efforts will enhance overall plant productivity while advancing your own professional skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Executing scheduled preventive and unscheduled corrective maintenance on semiconductor production machinery.
- Working on mechanical and electrical subsystems and assemblies.
- Precisely documenting root cause analyses, troubleshooting outcomes, data logs, and corrective actions relating to equipment failures.
- Reporting equipment failure modes following detailed operational instructions and standards.
- Upholding cleanroom protocols and company policies.
- Maintaining compliance with safety and quality requirements.
- Performing quality verifications consistent with process specifications.
- Utilizing Microsoft Office and proprietary computer systems as part of job functions.
Candidate Profile
- Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- At least two years of hands-on maintenance experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong team collaborator capable of working effectively within diverse groups.
- Excellent organizational, punctuality, and communication abilities.
- Adaptability to varying tasks with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- A desire for new challenges and ongoing career development.
Requirements
- Technical certification at NFQ Level 6 or higher or equivalent industrial experience.
- Minimum two years as an equipment maintenance technician involved in installations, preventive upkeep, and repairs.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical meters.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Capability to work in a controlled cleanroom environment, including wearing gowns and personal protective equipment.
- Absolute adherence to safety and procedural regulations.
Physical Demands
- Robust physical endurance to stand, stoop, walk, and reach during 12-hour shifts (excluding breaks).
Work Schedule
The role operates on a compressed workweek spanning a 4-shift rotation with 12-hour shifts including days, nights, and weekends.
