Job description
Context and Environment
The maintenance environment presents challenges related to escalating spare parts costs and difficulties in sourcing reliable contractors and suppliers for repair and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Maintenance Manager in developing preventive and corrective maintenance schedules and supervise their execution.
- Oversee all maintenance activities and coordinate efforts in Tamale to ensure operational efficiency.
- Monitor contractors' spare parts inventory to support an effective maintenance program.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports detailing maintenance activities to the Maintenance Manager.
- Ensure strict compliance with TEMG's Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) standards, including adherence to the Golden Rule, Group Safety Guidelines, ICC, and one MAESTRO.
- Guarantee compliance with applicable legal and Total Group directives across all sites.
- Create and implement methods to assess and monitor contractor performance effectively.
- Organize and engage in monthly meetings focused on maintenance activities and contractor coordination.
Candidate Profile
- Holder of an Engineering degree or B.Tech in mechanical, electrical, or a closely related technical field.
- Strong team player with well-developed organizational and monitoring skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical capabilities.
