Maintenance Supervisor - Tamale

Context and Environment

The maintenance environment presents challenges related to escalating spare parts costs and difficulties in sourcing reliable contractors and suppliers for repair and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Maintenance Manager in developing preventive and corrective maintenance schedules and supervise their execution.
• Oversee all maintenance activities and coordinate efforts in Tamale to ensure operational efficiency.
• Monitor contractors' spare parts inventory to support an effective maintenance program.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports detailing maintenance activities to the Maintenance Manager.
• Ensure strict compliance with TEMG's Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) standards, including adherence to the Golden Rule, Group Safety Guidelines, ICC, and one MAESTRO.
• Guarantee compliance with applicable legal and Total Group directives across all sites.
• Create and implement methods to assess and monitor contractor performance effectively.
• Organize and engage in monthly meetings focused on maintenance activities and contractor coordination.

Candidate Profile

• Holder of an Engineering degree or B.Tech in mechanical, electrical, or a closely related technical field.
• Strong team player with well-developed organizational and monitoring skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical capabilities.
