Position Overview
We are seeking a Maintenance Professional to operate primarily out of our Albany, NY office. This role involves a broad range of maintenance tasks aimed at ensuring safety, comfort, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out and assist with preventative and corrective maintenance across various domains including plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall installation, machine maintenance, electrical work, groundskeeping, cleaning, snow removal, vehicle upkeep, and furniture relocation.
- Support maintenance teams by performing tasks on equipment and facility infrastructure.
- Deliver labor and workmanship focused on high-quality results, prioritizing the wellbeing and comfort of individuals supported, staff members, and guests.
- Maintain accurate records by preparing, compiling, and filing daily work orders, supply packing slips, and invoices.
- Participate in the maintenance on-call rotation system.
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Valid New York State driver’s license in good standing is mandatory.
- Minimum of two years experience related to facilities management and building trades.
- Ability to follow instructions effectively, communicate clearly, perform basic arithmetic, and understand measurements and weights.
- Preferred candidates may have specialized training, licenses, certifications, or additional skills relevant to maintenance work.
Compensation
The salary for this position ranges from $22.00 to $24.20 per hour.
