Maintenance Planner

Role Overview

This full-time position based at the Petone office involves utilizing the Maximo system to develop and execute three waters planned maintenance programs across the region. Responsibilities include managing asset data to enhance future planning, collaborating closely with council customer planning engineers, and supporting maintenance program delivery.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage key relationships with internal teams and external partners at Wellington Water and the Alliance partner, including system support specialists.
• Create and refine planned maintenance programs using the Maximo works order management system.
• Support Service Delivery teams in executing planned maintenance schedules.
• Track maintenance plans’ progress and assist teams with follow-up actions.
• Contribute to training and developing staff competencies in operating the computerized Asset Management System.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• At least five years' experience using enterprise-level asset maintenance planning tools and asset management, with preference for Maximo experience.
• Strong proficiency with computer systems focused on maintenance and asset management.
• Possession of a full New Zealand Class 1 driving license.
• Experience in budget and financial management.
• Relevant Diploma in Engineering or Degree qualification in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical engineering, or an applicable trade qualification.

Additional Information

• Working hours: 40 hours per week, full-time.
• Remuneration ranges from NZD 83,204 to 117,465 per annum including KiwiSaver, commensurate with skills and experience.

• Applicants must be legally permitted to work long-term in New Zealand or qualify for a work visa.
