Job Summary

As a Maintenance Officer at our prestigious hotel, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient functioning of all equipment and facilities. Your role involves overseeing routine maintenance, supporting repairs, and managing new installations, thereby contributing to memorable guest experiences through high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain service quality standards that align with hotel operational objectives.
• Address maintenance requests logged through the internal system promptly and effectively.
• Carry out assigned maintenance duties under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager, ensuring seamless transitions between tasks.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities to uphold the upkeep of hotel infrastructure.
• Regularly inspect machinery rooms and equipment, reporting any operational anomalies immediately.
• Advise on procedures to enhance energy efficiency across hotel facilities.
• Manage administrative aspects including attendance tracking, performance evaluations, and precise documentation of maintenance activities.
• Oversee inventory control for materials and tools, ensuring proper usage and storage.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors according to maintenance schedules and priorities.
• Promote and enforce safety protocols to guarantee safe equipment use throughout all hotel departments.
• Assist in emergency situations by following prescribed procedures and supporting operational needs.

Candidate Qualifications

• A minimum of three years in a similar maintenance role or five years in a supervisory capacity within a 4 or 5-star hotel setting.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management and contractor oversight.
