About the Role

The Maintenance Officer is crucial to maintaining the safe, functional, and comfortable environment throughout the Arcare facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and conduct routine maintenance tasks across the residence, including inspections and repairs of plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Perform patching, plastering, wheelchair services, and enhance the appearance of paths and buildings.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance with building regulations.
• Maintain or arrange repair of facility equipment, coordinating with external providers as necessary.

• Demonstrate adaptability, passion, and eagerness to learn new skills.
• Work well collaboratively within a team setting.
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Hold trade or handyman skills relevant to facility maintenance and possess necessary certifications.
