Maintenance Manager - Industrial

Overview

In collaboration with our client, we are seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance team within an industrial setting based in Dublin. This leader will ensure the maintenance department operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of technicians and provide technical guidance as needed.
• Address equipment breakdowns and assist technicians in troubleshooting.
• Monitor machine reliability and generate related reports.
• Plan and implement machine and production line enhancement projects.
• Support the training and development of maintenance personnel.
• Evaluate and update preventive maintenance (PM) procedures when necessary.
• Offer flexibility by covering other shifts during holidays or sickness.
• Coordinate machine and fabric repairs proactively ahead of scheduled visits and audits.
• Contribute to PM programs and parts management initiatives.
• Engage and communicate effectively with subcontractors when required.
• Undertake other duties pertinent to the maintenance management role.

Candidate Profile

• Qualified in electrical or mechanical trade or engineering disciplines.
• At least 7 years of experience post-qualification.
• Comprehensive hands-on expertise with electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Proven experience managing or supervising teams.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems.
• Strong capabilities in troubleshooting technical issues.
