Role Summary

The Maintenance Equipment Cleaner plays a crucial role in preparing and cleaning aircraft and engine parts to uphold safe maintenance activities in compliance with company, FAA, and governmental safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold the highest standards in safety, quality, compliance, and reliability.
• Utilize various chemicals to clean aircraft components following aircraft manuals.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on paint booths and shop equipment.
• Confirm accuracy of information and proper tagging on removed aircraft parts.
• Log all maintenance activities as per company and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain shop environment, tools, and machinery in a neat, secure, and professional condition.
• Handle and store hazardous materials in line with company and regulatory protocols.

Qualifications and Experience

• Detail-focused with ability to work independently and self-manage tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Must obtain environmental coordinator certification within 90 days of employment.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to legally work in the United States.
• Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in aviation maintenance or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting pay is $21.02 per hour. Employee benefits vary by company, location, scheduled hours, employment length, and status but include:

Airport Security Badge Requirements

Employees working in airport or maintenance hangars must obtain and maintain a SIDA badge issued by airport authorities. Failure to obtain or maintain this badge will lead to termination.
