About the Role
The position of Maintenance Engineer involves working under direct supervision to independently assess, choose, and implement standard engineering methods, procedures, and criteria. The engineer applies judgment in making slight adaptations and modifications as needed.
With additional hands-on experience in a specific functional area, the candidate supports the design of more extensive and intricate projects. These projects encompass conventional plans, studies, and surveys with limited complex aspects that have existing precedents.
The tasks performed, when done properly, influence cost control, efficiency improvements, profitability, or operational effectiveness indirectly.
Typically, skills for this role are developed through an undergraduate engineering degree and at least two years of relevant experience. Most candidates have between three and seven years of experience in the field.
