Job description
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a cutting-edge FMCG manufacturing facility in Worcestershire, equipped with advanced automation and rapid production lines. Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks on automated and semi-automated production equipment.
- Conduct fault diagnosis and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize operational throughput.
- Execute planned preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability in a fast-moving FMCG manufacturing setting.
- Support shift operations on a rotating four days on, four days off cycle covering both day and night shifts.
- Contribute to improving the overall productivity and dependability of production lines.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven electrical maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
- Solid background in executing pre-planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance in a fast-production environment.
- Capable of working the specified 4 on, 4 off day and night shift schedule.
- Hands-on expertise in electrical fault finding and possession of recognised electrical engineering certification such as NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds.
- Practical mechanical maintenance knowledge involving motors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Basic familiarity with PLC diagnostics is desirable.
- Previous experience with UK manufacturing operations, especially within FMCG, food, beverage, or packaging industries, is considered advantageous.

Additional Information
This position is based onsite in Droitwich. Candidates must be able to adhere to the 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern that includes night shifts.
