About THE PIG Hotel
THE PIG Hotel located in Brockenhurst, England, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistant to join their maintenance team. Working onsite, this role involves collaborative efforts to uphold the hotel's operational efficiency, health and safety standards, and preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be an integral member of a compact maintenance team, responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the hotel's facilities. Your duties will primarily include performing basic repairs, such as fixing damaged property, painting, decorating, and assisting in coordinating refurbishment projects alongside the Maintenance Manager. A hands-on approach and positive attitude are essential to succeed in this role.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar maintenance role is preferred.
- Knowledge or qualifications in PAT testing, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, fire safety, plant room management, and health and safety are advantageous.
