Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator proficient in operating Sink and Wire EDM machines to manufacture tooling parts accurately according to engineering drawings. This role requires the ability to interpret technical blueprints and possess a sound understanding of machinist tools, cutting parameters, and routine machine upkeep.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Sink and Wire EDM machinery to produce tooling components adhering to specified drawings and dimensions.
- Interpret and understand engineering drawings for precise manufacturing.
- Apply knowledge of machining tools, cutting speeds, and feed rates to optimize production output.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience operating EDM and related machining equipment.
- Educational qualification of ITI or Diploma in a relevant technical field.
Location
Position is based at Aptiv Connection Systems India, Kochi, Kerala.
