Role Summary

The Machine Operator is tasked with running, monitoring, and maintaining packaging machinery in line with cGMP, SOPs, and EHS requirements. The position ensures efficient production, compliance with quality standards, safe operations, and line cleanliness to optimize pharmaceutical packaging productivity.

Primary Responsibilities

• Strictly follow cGMP principles and maintain their effective implementation.
• Set up packaging machines and production lines appropriately.
• Adhere to gowning procedures as outlined in SOPs.
• Prepare, inspect, and complete assigned tasks as per SOP guidelines.
• Verify bulk and packaging materials against dispensing sheets before use.
• Ensure thorough line clearance procedures.
• Operate and clean machinery following SOP instructions.
• Check product weights using calibrated scales to meet specified limits.
• Complete batch packaging documentation in compliance with SOPs.
• Report technical errors or faults to supervisory personnel immediately.
• Monitor and report hourly line capacity, assisting in maximizing efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness of the production line between batches and at shift end.
• Execute daily operations observing EMS, HSE standards, utilizing proper PPE and safe working methods.
• Identify, mitigate, and prevent environmental impacts and operational hazards.
• Participate in EHS activities, audits, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum four years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Fundamental reading and writing skills in English.
