Role Overview
The Machine Operator will be responsible for managing lathe machines to manufacture screws and parts precisely as per technical blueprints and specifications. Key duties include machine setup, tooling adjustments, conducting routine machine maintenance, and ensuring all products comply with quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Additionally, the operator will interpret job orders, examine finished pieces, maintain records of production activities, and communicate any equipment malfunctions or quality discrepancies to supervisors. This role is full-time and requires presence at the Unayzah facility, with strict adherence to safety protocols and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Skilled in operating lathe machinery, including machine setup and routine upkeep.
- Competent in conducting quality assurance checks, inspecting parts, and adhering to manufacturing tolerances.
- Proficient with hand tools for adjustments, measurements, and minor repairs.
- Clear and effective communication abilities to work cooperatively with colleagues and report issues.
- Preferred experience in manufacturing or metalworking sectors.
- Basic knowledge of reading mechanical drawings and using measurement instruments like calipers and micrometers is beneficial.
- Dedicated to maintaining workplace safety, dependable attendance, and capable of standing for long durations during machine operation.
- High school education or equivalent is required; vocational or technical training is advantageous.
