What You Will Do
- Maintain consistent production of high-quality products.
- Observe, document, and enhance the parameters of manufacturing processes.
- Identify and resolve mechanical and process-related challenges effectively.
- Assist with machine changeovers as required.
- Verify the availability and quality of raw materials prior to their use.
- Track material waste and report any discrepancies.
- Comply with workplace housekeeping standards and maintain cleanliness according to cleaning schedules.
Qualifications and Skills
- A High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Preferably a technical or mechanical background in the plastics industry.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Proven mechanical aptitude and skill.
Physical Requirements
Successful candidates must meet certain physical criteria to perform essential job duties. Reasonable accommodations will be considered for individuals with disabilities.
- Regularly standing, walking, reaching with arms and hands, with occasional climbing or balancing.
- Often requires fine motor skills such as handling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Occasional periods of sitting.
- Ability to lift or move weights of up to 10 lbs regularly, 30 lbs frequently, and more than 50 lbs occasionally.
- Must possess close vision capabilities.
