Role Overview: Luggage Porter

As the Luggage Porter, you will serve as the initial and final impression for guests, providing a warm, professional welcome and departure. Your approachable and polished presence will represent our 5-star standards, making every guest feel truly valued.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure with a sincere smile and tailored service.
• Anticipate and promptly assist guests with their luggage from the street to the hotel entrance and vice versa, including lifting and transporting luggage.
• Coordinate and deliver guest luggage to and from rooms within brand timeframes.
• Assist guests by opening doors, summoning taxis, giving directions, and escorting when needed.
• Share knowledgeable insights about Liverpool’s attractions, dining, events, and transportation options.
• Maintain a strong, professional presence at the hotel entrance, ensuring it is clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Stay informed about all hotel offerings, venues, and operating hours to provide accurate information.
• Collaborate closely with Concierge and Reception to ensure smooth guest experiences.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns discreetly and escalate issues appropriately.
• Maintain impeccable grooming and uniform standards consistent with a luxury 5-star environment.
• Stay vigilant regarding security, monitoring the entrance area for any safety issues or suspicious activity.
