Role Overview
DBiz.ai is seeking a skilled Low-Code Engineer to design and implement workflow applications using the OutSystems Developer Cloud (ODC) platform. This role involves crafting application screens, workflow logics, business rules, and integrating APIs to build seamless and secure user journeys. The engineer will also handle comprehensive delivery tasks including rigorous testing, defect management, detailed documentation, and knowledge sharing with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, design, and configure workflow applications on OutSystems Developer Cloud in line with approved requirements, architecture frameworks, and UI/UX designs.
- Develop application screens, workflow logic to manage approvals, routing, notifications, and role-based access controls.
- Build RESTful APIs and integrate with enterprise systems, adhering to integration patterns and security protocols.
- Plan and execute data migration, defining source-to-target mappings, transformations, cleaning standards, and validation benchmarks.
- Develop ETL or migration scripts and coordinate migration events collaboratively with project team members and system owners.
- Conduct mock migrations, perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of migrated data.
- Support cutover activities including migration scheduling, production environment verification, and rollback strategies.
- Execute unit tests, integration tests, and aid SIT/UAT phases through prompt troubleshooting and defect remediation.
- Maintain thorough technical and migration documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions with clients and support teams.
Essential Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of experience in software delivery, specifically with solid hands-on exposure in OutSystems development, preferably ODC.
- Proven ability to develop workflow-centric applications involving approval cycles, routing logic, notifications, and role-based access.
- Competence in creating integrations using REST APIs including handling authentication and error scenarios.
- Experience contributing to testing phases like unit, integration, SIT, and UAT along with effective defect management.
- Practical knowledge of data migration tasks encompassing mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and cutover assistance.
- Strong skills in writing clear and comprehensive technical documentation and collaborating within cross-functional teams.
Preferable Skills
- OutSystems/ODC developer certification is advantageous but not compulsory.
