Position Overview
We're seeking a dedicated Lot Attendant to join our Meadowvale Honda team in Mississauga, Ontario. This role is pivotal in maintaining organized and attractive vehicle displays, ensuring vehicle readiness, and assisting with various operational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Organize and arrange vehicles on the lot efficiently to maximize space and improve visual appeal.
- Perform regular inspections to ensure vehicles are clean and free from damage, reporting any concerns appropriately.
- Ensure all vehicles are clearly labeled with pricing and necessary information.
- Prepare vehicles for delivery by washing and fueling before scheduled drop-offs.
- Support dealer trades and other driving tasks as needed.
- Carry out general lot maintenance including sweeping, trash clearing, and snow removal during adverse weather.
- Operate vehicles with manual (standard) transmission.
- Maintain a positive aptitude towards customer interactions.
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and ability to remain organized while working outdoors year-round.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Proficient in driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Effective time management capabilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- At least one year of experience in vehicle detailing.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a minimum of three years driving experience.
- Clean driver’s abstract.
Compensation
Hourly wage: $19 per hour.
