About the Role
We are looking for a Lot Associate who enjoys helping customers, making a positive impact, and guiding shoppers to the right solutions for their projects. This position offers an opportunity to grow your career with a focus on excellent customer service.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist customers by loading their purchases into vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a safe and accessible parking lot area that is welcoming to customers.
- Adhere to the company’s GET customer service model: Greeting, Engaging, and Thanking customers, ensuring a positive experience.
- Keep a sufficient supply of shopping carts near the store entrance at all times.
- Engage customers by asking open-ended questions to understand their project needs and expertise level.
- Plan the safest and most effective way to load merchandise into customer vehicles, following safe loading training guidelines.
Safety and Security
- Ensure all exits and loading zones remain clear of any obstructions or clutter.
- Keep the front apron and lumber loading pad clean by sweeping and removing debris.
- Follow all safety policies and loss prevention procedures strictly.
- Operate equipment using approved safety techniques.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Work schedule may vary and include evenings and weekends.
- Warehouse setting characterized by dust and noise.
- Exposure to all weather conditions is frequent due to outdoor loading and unloading duties.
- Open doors may cause drafts and temperature fluctuations inside the facility.
- Physically demanding activities include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving products.
Additional Information
- Reports to the Front End Supervisor.
- No travel necessary.
- Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred experience: 1 to 2 years in retail environments.
- No specific leadership or certification requirements.
