Position Overview

We are looking for a Loss Prevention Store Security Agent to maintain a secure, safe, and welcoming atmosphere in our retail locations. This pivotal role involves preventing theft, supporting store investigations, and utilizing advanced CCTV technologies to safeguard our staff, customers, and assets. The role also offers leadership growth, direct customer engagement, and collaboration within a supportive retail team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide visible store support by wearing uniform, greeting customers, responding to security alarms, and delivering excellent customer service to create a positive store experience.
• Identify and prevent theft and fraud, assist Store Investigators during apprehensions, and support civil and criminal legal proceedings as necessary.
• Monitor store premises through CCTV surveillance and floor patrols; partner with Organized Retail Crime Investigators to probe repeated and organized theft activities.
• Report suspicious activities, collaborate with Regional Internal and Supply-chain Investigators on internal and supply-related losses, and work with Remote Investigators and District Managers to flag external incidents and minimize shrinkage.

Candidate Profile

• Possess at least a High School diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience or education related to Retail Loss Prevention, Military, Security, or Law Enforcement is advantageous.
• Hold a valid provincial security license where mandated for the role.
• Holding a valid driver’s license with a good driving record and access to a vehicle is preferred (may vary by location).

Compensation and Benefits

• An annual salary ranging from $37,590 to $52,626 dependent on qualifications, skills, and experience.
