Loss Prevention Executive

Job Overview

Join Marriott International as a Loss Prevention Executive based in New Delhi, responsible for safeguarding property and ensuring guest safety through proactive security measures and emergency response management.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols across the property, secure rooms, and assist guests with room access issues.
• Lead emergency drills, perform daily safety inspections, and carry out investigations and interviews.
• Manage surveillance systems such as CCTV and alarms, and control access to secured areas with proper authorization and documentation.
• Respond promptly to accidents by administering first aid or CPR and contacting emergency medical services when necessary.
• Gather essential information, complete reports, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive data, releasing it only to authorized personnel.
• Defuse conflicts per company protocols, handle complaints, and escort unwelcome individuals off the premises.
• Ensure compliance with beverage alcohol laws, and call for assistance using established code responses.
• Support management in coaching and motivating employees; embody company policies including the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Maintain professional appearance, complete required safety training, and safeguard company assets and confidential information.
• Engage with guests warmly, anticipating their needs and ensuring high standards of service and communication etiquette.
• Foster positive team relationships and respond appropriately to co-worker concerns while striving to meet quality standards.
• Perform physical tasks such as inspecting equipment and moving objects up to 50 pounds independently or heavier with assistance, including navigating various physical environments and spaces.
• Carry out additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least two years of relevant experience in loss prevention or security roles.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience preferred.
• No specific licenses or certifications required; note some states may have additional licensing criteria.
