Loss Prevention Executive

Overview

This role involves patrolling all property areas, securing guest rooms, and assisting guests with room access. The executive will conduct emergency drills, perform daily safety and hazard inspections, manage investigations and interviews, and audit key controls. Monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, authorizing and documenting secured area access are critical responsibilities. The individual will assist guests and employees in emergencies, provide first aid/CPR if needed, respond to incidents, maintain confidentiality in reports, and manage disturbances and complaints according to company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Escort unauthorized persons off premises and ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage laws.
• Use proper emergency codes and assist employees with documentation.
• Support management in training, coaching, and motivating staff while upholding the company’s Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, report unsafe conditions, and maintain professional appearance and confidentiality.
• Welcome guests professionally, anticipate their service needs, communicate clearly, and maintain positive relationships with coworkers.
• Ensure quality standards are met consistently.

Physical and Operational Requirements

• Ability to read and verify information in different formats.
• Perform visual inspections of tools, equipment, and machinery to identify defects.
• Use computers and point-of-sale systems for entering and locating work-related information.
• Move at necessary speeds (walking, jogging, running) to respond to work situations.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently, with assistance for weights over 75 lbs.
• Navigate narrow, confined, and elevated spaces, uneven or slippery surfaces, stairs, and ramps.
• Reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience.
• At least one year of supervisory experience.
