Role Overview
Located at the Darwin RAAF site on Larrakia land, the Logistics & Warehousing Team Member plays a crucial role within our Explosive Ordnance Services team, facilitating the storage, distribution, maintenance, and disposal of defence systems nationwide. This position provides a comprehensive insight into our operations with promising avenues for growth, often leading to leadership opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, tag, and package inventory accurately for dispatch.
- Assist in transporting stocks both by road and within depot premises.
- Monitor product shelf life and support audits and inspections.
- Utilize information systems to manage store data efficiently.
- Maintain vigilance regarding safety protocols to contribute to health and safety objectives.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a valid full driver’s licence.
- Demonstrated strong customer service aptitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong numerical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Prior experience in warehousing or defence sectors is advantageous.

Hiring Process and Conditions
A Defence security clearance is mandatory; applicants must be Australian citizens eligible to obtain and hold the clearance. Pre-employment police checks and possible medical assessments will be required. In some cases, existing foreign government clearances might be recognized. Eligibility and further clearance information are provided by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
