Position Overview

Raytheon is seeking a seasoned Logistics Manager to lead logistics and materials management for the Qatar NASAMS Program. The role involves directing logistics analysis, warehouse activities, and Repair and Return operations to ensure efficient fulfillment of program goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and synchronize logistics and material sustainment efforts to ensure timely availability of spares, consumables, and repairables.
  • Design and implement logistics strategies aligned with the Long-Term Sustainment Contract and customer needs.
  • Manage material planning, forecasting, and procurement to sustain optimal inventory and operational readiness.
  • Supervise supply chain processes, ensuring punctual delivery while proactively addressing risks.
  • Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, maintenance, and operations teams to support program objectives and resolve challenges.
  • Ensure adherence to Raytheon policies, contractual obligations, and local regulatory requirements in Qatar.
  • Lead and mentor a logistics team, offering guidance and development aligned with organizational goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate program success.
  • Generate and present reports on logistics performance, inventory status, and contract deliverables to leadership and clients.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost logistics efficiency and program support quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of related experience, or an advanced degree with at least 6 years’ experience.
  • Proven background in operations, logistics, supply chain, or materials management, ideally in complex or defense-related environments.
  • Experience with sustainment activities for aerospace or defense programs; international experience favored.
  • In-depth understanding of inventory control, warehousing, and supply chain logistics.
  • Experience serving as a Control Account Manager, including forecasting, EAC support, and risk/opportunity handling.
  • Proficiency with logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have or be able to obtain and maintain an active U.S. government Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience working in Middle Eastern or international contexts.
  • Knowledge of defense industry export-import regulations and compliance.
  • Familiarity with NASAMS or similar air defense systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities to effectively manage diverse teams across geographies.
  • Analytical skills focused on process improvements and operational excellence.
  • Proven aptitude for collaborative cross-functional team engagement and stakeholder management.

Additional Information

  • This is an accompanied onsite role based in Doha, Qatar under a long-term two-year MOU with possible extension and additional benefits.
  • Employment requires passing comprehensive overseas medical exams.
