Logistics Executive - Night Shift

Operating exclusively on a night shift aligned with USA and Canada time zones, the company supports RNS Logistics by managing international shipment operations for North American clients.

Role Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Logistics Executive to join our team in Vadodara. This full-time role involves coordinating international shipments, managing key freight documentation, communication with carriers and customers, and ensuring the flawless execution of logistics operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate import and export shipments on a global scale.
• Prepare, review, and maintain crucial freight forwarding documents including Bill of Lading, Shipping Instructions, Commercial Invoices, and Packing Lists.
• Monitor shipment statuses and relay timely updates to clients and internal teams.
• Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, freight agents, customs brokers, and transportation providers to facilitate seamless operations.
• Handle shipment bookings and scheduling efficiently.
• Ensure strict compliance with international shipping regulations and customer-specific requirements.
• Maintain accurate records within the logistics management system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve delays or operational challenges swiftly.
• Address customer inquiries professionally through email and phone communication.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional internal departments to guarantee smooth shipment execution.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Foundational knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics workflows.
• Understanding of international shipping documentation processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and the MS Office suite.
• Strong organizational abilities and efficient time management.
• Ability to perform well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Sharp attention to detail combined with solid problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Credentials

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related areas.
• Around three years’ experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Shipping, or Supply Chain roles preferred.
• Open to fresh graduates who demonstrate excellent communication and eagerness to learn.

Work Schedule and Location

• Fixed night shift from 5:00 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday.
• Work location: Vadodara, Gujarat, India.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range between 250000 to 350000 INR per annum.
