Role Description

To ensure reliable logistics flow and continuous product availability on Amazon, the logistics team plays a critical role. BMS is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join this team, responsible for managing supplier portfolios from China and/or Pakistan and optimizing shipping operations to Amazon and third-party logistics providers (3PL).

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate shipments to Amazon and 3PL partners efficiently.
  • Enhance container loading and shipment planning to maximize capacity.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs and challenge proposed options.
  • Anticipate supplier shutdowns due to events such as Chinese New Year, Ramadan, Golden Week and adjust shipping schedules accordingly.
  • Maintain and update logistic tracking tools and systems.
  • Monitor every shipment actively from supplier readiness through delivery, including confirmations, status updates, and alerts.
  • Evaluate logistics performance by supplier, detect trends and deviations, report KPIs, and collaborate on solutions to performance issues.
  • Manage disputes related to quantities, delivery times, or shipments and escalate critical issues to the Team Leader.
  • Prioritize shipments that are urgent due to stockouts, best-sellers, or marketing campaigns and negotiate priority deliveries with suppliers.
  • Select optimal transportation modes based on urgency.
  • Handle partial shipments when suppliers cannot fulfill entire orders and suggest best logistical solutions to the Team Leader.
  • Maintain up-to-date dashboards tracking shipment status, costs, timelines, and supplier KPIs.
  • Contribute to internal tool development by testing features, identifying bugs, and recommending enhancements.
  • Participate actively in weekly and monthly logistics team meetings.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Holder of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Commerce, or related field.
  • Between 2 to 4 years of practical experience in logistics, transportation, or operational supply chain roles.
  • Experience in Amazon environments (FBA and/or Vendor), international shipping, or e-commerce operations is considered advantageous.
  • Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with suppliers.

Technical Skills & Personal Attributes

  • Proficient with ERP systems, Google Sheets, and logistics tracking solutions; able to analyze data, spot discrepancies, and challenge findings.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, meticulous organization, and high degree of precision.
  • Comfortable using office software packages including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Self-driven, responsive, adept at managing multiple priorities and emergencies in a dynamic logistics environment.
  • Proactive mindset—does not simply execute tasks but suggests improvements and flags issues timely.
  • Team-oriented, enthusiastic, and consistently displays kindness and respect in the workplace.
