Role Overview
The Logistics Coordinator position is a full-time onsite role located in Jalandhar, Punjab. The individual will be responsible for managing daily logistics activities such as coordinating shipments, tracking orders, and guaranteeing timely delivery to customers and partners. Collaboration with drivers, vendors, and internal teams to swiftly address and resolve logistical issues is essential. Additional duties include maintaining precise documentation, organizing records, and providing regular order status updates to stakeholders. The role demands close attention to detail, anticipatory problem-solving skills, and a strong emphasis on customer service and operational effectiveness.
Candidate Requirements
- Proficiency in English and Punjabi languages, and in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent coordination skills between truck drivers and brokers.
- Capability to manage email communications efficiently.
- Skilled in tracking and tracing shipments to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Strong sense of responsibility towards assigned tasks.
- Possession of personal computer or laptop and access to high-speed internet.
- Availability to work from 4 PM to 2 AM from home.
- Strong organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and capacity to perform well in a fast-moving work environment are desirable.
Compensation
- Freshers will receive a starting monthly salary of 15,000 INR for the first two months. Upon satisfactory performance during the probation period, this increases to 20,000 INR monthly.
- For candidates with experience, salary is negotiable based on prior compensation.
