Overview
Join a dynamic international organization as a Warehouse Assistant in Singapore, where you will contribute to the smooth functioning of logistics and warehousing operations. This role involves managing daily tasks related to cargo handling, including import and export shipments, while upholding meticulous inventory control, safety standards, and workplace organization.
Key Duties
- Handle receiving, picking, storing, and dispatching of cargo in the warehouse.
- Manage physical activities such as checking, loading, unloading, packing, and palletising shipments for import and export.
- Keep the ERP system updated with accurate cargo receipt and shipment information.
- Perform routine stocktaking to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Identify and report any inconsistencies in inventory as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and security guidelines within the warehouse.
- Assist supervisory staff with other operational tasks as assigned.
Candidate Profile
- Hold at least an ITE diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Preferably possess 1 to 2 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain roles.
- Fresh entrants with a proactive mindset and eagerness to learn are welcome to apply.
- Familiarity with ERP or Warehouse Management Systems is a plus.
- Capable of physical tasks involving lifting, packing, and palletising cargo.
- Detail-oriented and able to function in a fast-moving environment.
- Good team collaborator with effective communication skills.
