Lobby Ambassador

Position Summary

The Lobby Ambassador plays a vital role in elevating the guest experience throughout the hotel's lobby area by actively promoting all services available, including outlets such as Restaurant & Bar, Front Desk, Business Center, and Lounge. This role involves handling guest requests for special services—ranging from transportation, reservations, to dry cleaning—by coordinating arrangements or directing guests to the appropriate service providers.

The Ambassador also caters to special guest requirements, ensuring follow-up to guarantee satisfaction. Additionally, they gather and provide insightful information about the hotel and nearby attractions, including local events and amenities, to enrich the guest's stay.

Coordination with other hotel departments like Bellperson, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage is essential to handle guest issues promptly. Employees must report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions while adhering to safety training and company policies.

Representing the hotel's brand, the Ambassador is expected to maintain a professional appearance, protect company confidentiality and assets, welcome guests warmly, anticipate needs, and assist guests with disabilities courteously. Effective verbal communication, telephone etiquette, and accurate documentation are crucial to this role.

Teamwork is highly valued, with an emphasis on supporting colleagues, listening to concerns, and meeting quality assurance standards. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for prolonged periods and handling objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
• Minimum of one year of relevant work experience in a similar role
• No supervisory experience required
• No specific licenses or certifications necessary
