Job description
Position Overview
The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries seeks an experienced professional to oversee and maintain the Northern Territory's livestock identification, property registration, and traceability systems. This role involves ensuring the precise management of statutory registers, executing delegated Registrar responsibilities, and delivering expert guidance to industry participants, stakeholders, and governmental personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and administer the livestock identification and related registries with accuracy and compliance.
Apply statutory and delegated Registrar functions effectively.
Provide specialist advice and support to industry members, governmental staff, and other stakeholders.
Contribute to maintaining and enhancing traceability and property registration systems within the jurisdiction.
