Position Overview
SAIC is seeking a skilled Live Mission Operation Capability (LMOC) Operator to support the US Air Force COBRA program at the Multinational Aircrew Electronic Warfare Tactics Facility in Oberarnbach, Germany. This role involves delivering live, mobile, and live-synthetic blended Electronic Warfare Threat-to-Aerospace Operations (TTAO) training missions for US and NATO units. The LMOC Operator will seamlessly integrate tactical procedures with EW threat systems and execute mission-critical actions to enhance aircrew survivability and threat replication.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead coordination and guidance for Joint Threat Emitter Operators, TTAO Technicians, and M&S Analysts during live missions flying across European ranges.
- Configure and maintain the Common Tactical Picture (CTP) for unified integration of live and synthetic air and threat tracking.
- Manage simultaneous communications across multiple media (radio, VoIP, digital chat, landline) to direct operators and execute real-time threat system kill removal as per customer directives.
- Utilize government-provided tools for mission planning, execution, and post-mission analysis.
- Interpret operation documents such as Air Tasking Orders, Airspace Control Orders, Special Instructions, and communication plans to ensure precise mission execution.
- Develop feedback reports, support mass debriefings, and stay updated with current U.S., NATO, and adversary tactics.
- Serve as the technical liaison between LMOC, external mission partners, and EW system operators to ensure mission accuracy.
- Engage in formal and informal training activities to sustain and enhance tactical and technical expertise.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements
- Minimum of five years' experience working at US/NATO electronic warfare ranges.
- Proficient knowledge of US, NATO, and adversarial TTPs related to TTAO.
- Maintain Technical Level II certification compliant with DoD Directive 8570 (Security+).
- US citizenship with active US Secret clearance and eligibility for NATO Secret indoctrination.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience totaling five or more years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with systems such as Next Generation Threat System (NGTS), Modern Air Combat Environment (MACE), Adaptable Range Exercise System (ANGEL), and Battlespace Command and Control Center (BC3).
- Over three years of experience working in international environments or organizations.
