Korvest Galvanising specializes in processing structural steel and components for internal and external clients. EzyStrut leads the Australian cable and pipe support system market. The company’s Head Office in Kilburn, South Australia, houses manufacturing, galvanising, and warehousing services supporting a nationwide network of branches and sales personnel.
Role Overview
- Precisely mark lines, boundaries, exclusion zones, and specified areas on site adhering to safety and operational requirements.
- Support the implementation of the 5S workspace organization methodology comprising Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.
- Conduct general duties such as cleaning machinery and workspaces and carrying out minor repair tasks.
- Comply fully with established safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and various departments to support production activities and improve outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous laborer experience, ideally within manufacturing environments.
- Basic familiarity with line marking methods and 5S principles is advantageous.
- Safe and competent operation of maintenance tools and equipment.
- A keen eye for detail and ability to accurately follow instructions.
- Strong communication skills combined with a cooperative, team-oriented mindset.
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and manage equipment lifting.
