Line Manager

About the Role

Tesco Ireland seeks a dedicated Line Manager for its Shannon location to lead and support a department and team, ensuring exceptional service and shopping experiences for customers. This role involves coaching staff, managing daily decisions, training delivery, and overseeing routines, safety, and promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor your team to consistently provide excellent customer service, maintain standards, and ensure stock availability.
• Achieve departmental key performance indicators.
• Make daily decisions supporting team effectiveness and service delivery.
• Implement training plans ensuring all team members are properly trained with valid certifications.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of all department processes, routines, and systems.
• Organize seasonal and promotional activities to maximize sales impact and presentation quality.
• Maintain all safety and legal requirements, proactively addressing any identified issues.
• Facilitate colleague understanding of objectives, provide regular reviews, career discussions, and maintain live personal development plans.
• Offer ongoing coaching and feedback to improve team skills and performance.
• Create an environment fostering innovation, personal growth, and a positive culture that customers and colleagues enjoy.
