Job description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lift Engineer to service a designated route mainly within Didcot and nearby locales. This permanent, full-time position involves maintaining lift systems across commercial, residential, and public locations, ensuring their safe and continuous operation by performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:45 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM (early finish)
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and repair of lift equipment
- Attend emergency callouts and breakdowns promptly
- Diagnose faults and restore lift functionality efficiently
- Ensure compliance with safety standards onsite
- Maintain accurate site logs and basic administrative paperwork
Candidate Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Demonstrable experience in lift servicing and repair roles
- Valid full UK driving license
