Position Overview

We are seeking motivated and energetic Recreation professionals ready to advance their careers as Lifeguards at Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa. In this role, you will oversee safety in the swimming areas, ensuring a secure environment for all guests.

Primary Responsibilities

• Alert swimmers about hazardous zones to prevent accidents.
• Rescue individuals at risk of drowning and provide necessary first aid.
• Maintain order and safety within all pool areas.
• Test and monitor pool water chemistry, including chlorine levels and pH, using appropriate kits.
• Organize and supervise swimming competitions and offer swimming instruction as needed.
• Keep the swimming pool and surrounding deck clean and free from debris.
• Ensure sun loungers are clean, correctly arranged, and in proper working condition.
• Verify pool temperature regularly to meet established standards.
• Secure umbrellas by ensuring they are fixed properly during use and tied down when not in use for safety precautions.
• Deliver emergency care until professional medical assistance arrives.
• Be fully knowledgeable about the club’s facilities, schedules, ongoing promotions, and pricing.

Qualifications and Skills

• Professional swimmer with certified lifeguard training, holding a diploma or university degree is preferred.
• Previous experience, especially in the hospitality sector, is advantageous.
• Physically fit and capable of working extended hours outdoors.
• Good command of English language and strong interpersonal communication skills.
