Job description
Job Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Wireman proficient in maintaining electrical infrastructure, including compact substations, DG sets, LT/HT panels, air conditioning units, UPS, battery banks, SMPS, stabilizers, fire alarm systems (FAS), public address systems (PAS), and access control systems. The role requires working in a rotational three-shift schedule to ensure 24x7 system upkeep.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and service various electrical installations such as compact substations, generator sets, LT and HT electrical panels, and related equipment.
- Oversee and manage air conditioning systems, UPS units, battery banks, SMPS, and voltage stabilizers ensuring proper functionality.
- Handle fire alarm systems, public address systems, and access control security systems to maintain operational safety and security.
- Operate under a rotational three-shift system to guarantee continuous monitoring and maintenance of electrical systems.
Requirements
- Possession of a valid Wireman or Supervisor license approved by the Public Works Department (PWD).
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical switchgear equipment, including Air Circuit Breakers (ACB), Vacuum Circuit Breakers (VCB), Ring Main Units (RMU), and associated instruments.
