Job description
Role Overview
This full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position is located in Doha, Qatar, requiring on-site presence. The LPN will deliver hands-on patient care including monitoring vital signs, documenting medical histories, assisting in examinations, and supporting minor clinical procedures within a comprehensive wellness approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer medications as prescribed and observe patient reactions.
- Maintain thorough, prompt clinical records and documentation.
- Assist in creating and implementing coordinated care plans alongside physicians, nurses, and wellness practitioners.
- Support a safe, clean, and welcoming treatment environment.
- Educate patients regarding wellness, treatment compliance, and preventive health.
- Participate actively in team meetings and quality improvement programs.
Required Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse credential or equivalent, with authorization to practice in Qatar.
- Completion of an accredited nursing educational program.
- Competence in fundamental nursing skills such as vital signs measurement, medication administration, wound management, and patient observation.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, conveying care plans and health education clearly.
- Experience working collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams focused on holistic patient care.
- Adherence to clinical documentation, infection control, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in cannulation techniques.
- Interest or experience in integrative, holistic, or wellness-centered healthcare is advantageous.
- Strong organizational aptitude and flexibility to manage multiple patient care demands in a dynamic setting.
- Fluency in English required; additional skills in Arabic or other languages are beneficial.
- Preferably prior experience in outpatient, wellness, or primary care environments, though candidates with foundational clinical nursing skills are also welcome.
