Overview
Foundation Properties Inc. is seeking a Leasing Coordinator to oversee leasing activities for nearly 300 apartment units in Fredericton and nearby areas. This role emphasizes strong interpersonal skills to convert prospects into tenants by managing inquiries through to lease signing.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing, including screening and follow-up.
- Arrange and conduct property showings, ensuring a professional and engaging experience for potential tenants.
- Collaborate with maintenance and building staff to prepare and present units effectively.
- Manage rental applications, lease documentation, and coordinate tenant move-ins.
- Keep track of vacancies, turnover schedules, and the leasing pipeline.
- Maintain rental listings and monitor marketing platform performance.
- Administer lease renewals and assist in tenant retention efforts.
- Collect and analyze leasing data to track activity and conversion trends.
- Regularly report on leasing performance and provide market feedback.
- Enhance tenant experience through professional communication and onboarding support.
- Take responsibility for leasing outcomes and suggest improvements to increase occupancy.
- Coordinate administrative tasks in collaboration with the Administrative Assistant.
- Undertake other tasks supporting leasing success and revenue growth.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in leasing, sales, customer service, or any client-facing role is advantageous.
- Excellent communication abilities both written and verbal.
- Comfortable engaging and leading conversations with new contacts.
- Proficient with computer applications including Gmail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and smartphone apps.
- Effective at managing multiple tasks, appointments, and follow-ups.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Availability to work full-time with a flexible schedule including office hours and onsite showings.
