Job description
Overview
The 2-Hour Learning model condenses a full academic day's work into two focused hours, encouraging children to spend their afternoons on creative and physical pursuits. As a Learning Specialist, you will manage and enhance this innovative educational system remotely by analyzing AI-generated performance data to ensure every student achieves at least 90% mastery.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate detailed Academic Data Reports and conduct systematic analysis to detect and resolve issues within 48 hours.
- Lead swift intervention calls and provide one-on-one coaching to overcome learning obstacles, differentiate between misunderstandings and mistakes, and maintain student motivation.
- Evaluate and implement new educational tools and content, while experimenting with AI and large language model solutions to improve learning processes and tackle specific challenges.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine AI tutoring platforms, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as technology evolves.
What This Role Does Not Entail
- No involvement in lengthy meetings or generic presentations disconnected from measurable outcomes.
- No responsibilities for grading, lesson planning, or conventional teaching frameworks as AI drives the instructional methods.
- No purely strategic or repetitive task work; this role emphasizes hands-on, fast-paced execution.
Qualifications
- Minimum one year experience in coaching, training, or instructional roles.
- At least one year supporting K-8 learners through personalized coaching focusing on learning habits, motivation, and executive function skills; whole-class teaching alone is insufficient.
- At least one year combining active data analysis with direct learner support.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, utilizing functions like lookups, filters, pivot tables, and charting for data analysis.
- Six months or more experience applying AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) in professional environments to produce tangible outcomes.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Central Time.
Preferred Skills
- Background or experience in educational sciences or applying data-driven methods to enhance learning outcomes.
- Experience with Generative AI techniques and basic programming knowledge (Python, JavaScript) for AI API interactions.
About the Program
2-Hour Learning challenges traditional education by streamlining academic achievement into a focused two-hour daily session powered by AI personalization.
