Role Overview

This position, restricted to Saudi nationals as per government regulations, is for a Learning Area Manager within our Fulfillment Center Operations Learning team. The role involves hands-on management of daily training activities, ensuring compliance, and applying analytical thinking to support employee development and operational goals. Strong presentation and persuasion skills are essential, alongside the ability to influence without direct authority. The role requires close collaboration with Operations and a good understanding of warehouse processes in a fast-paced consumer goods environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of Learning Associates, overseeing their deployment, growth, and productivity to meet operational needs.
• Develop and execute training initiatives for associates, supervisors, and trainers, including conducting needs analysis and organizing skills development sessions.
• Facilitate orientation and ongoing training classes, and communicate policies effectively to employees and management.
• Create and maintain accurate training materials such as school content, visual aids, and process documentation.
• Collaborate with Operations and Area Managers to understand and support performance goals, providing necessary training interventions.
• Respond swiftly to production demands and coordinate network-wide training rollouts.
• Standardize best training practices across various departments and sites.
• Track training attendance, progress, and skill acquisition rigorously.
• Manage grant proposal activities including implementation and monitoring when applicable.
• Analyze training data and metrics to recommend improvements in training programs and operational efficiency.
• Oversee safety in transportation operations ensuring immediate actions where required.
• Administer the Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Training Program including documentation and certification management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years in employee and performance management, or 2+ years of experience with Amazon as a full-time employee.
• Proven experience in delivering training to peers, hourly employees, and managers.
• Coaching experience and competence in communicating performance-related feedback.
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and apply insights effectively.
• Strong computer proficiency including email and MS Office (notably Excel).
• Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking is required; additional languages and local employment law knowledge are advantageous.
• Preferred: Experience with performance metrics, process improvements, or lean methodologies.
• Adaptability to fast-paced, dynamic environments and capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
