About the Role
The Learning and Development Manager will strategically design and oversee corporate L&D initiatives in alignment with both business objectives and broader EMEA strategies, specifically for the KSA operations. The role involves driving quality and timely performance support programs while maintaining strong collaborative ties across departments to deliver effective learning solutions. Coaching the team to optimize performance and continuously enhancing policies and procedures for greater impact are key functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the EMEA L&D Manager to identify and evaluate training needs across airport lounges and all outlets to uphold high customer service standards.
- Boost training participation and effectiveness through well-crafted engagement activities.
- Organize and manage the learning calendar ensuring timely delivery of training programs for managers, operational staff, trainees, and interns.
- Provide close guidance and coaching to the KSA L&D team and operational trainers to enhance their skills effectively.
- Conduct training needs analysis and recommend targeted training solutions aligned with company values and employee development goals.
- Develop, implement, and supervise training programs responsive to evolving business needs.
- Maintain and update training manuals according to operational changes and requirements.
- Plan and monitor comprehensive training plans and monthly calendars.
- Lead the internal trainers ensuring all programs are delivered effectively.
- Liaise with external training providers for both in-house and external training sessions.
- Explore and implement improvements to operational workflows.
- Oversee administration of learning programs and maintain accurate training records.
- Support setup of new operations and contribute to business growth initiatives.
- Engage in various ad hoc projects as designated by the company.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related fields.
- At least 5 years of practical experience in learning and development including training design and facilitation.
- Certifications in branded training methodologies and psychometric assessments such as MBTI, 360 Assessment, and DISC are advantageous.
- Proficiency in e-learning design, career development, and talent management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with a mature outlook.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic, spoken and written.
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural workforce.
