About the Role

Join Edwards Lifesciences to make a significant impact on patient lives globally by contributing to the manufacturing of life-transforming medical devices. As a key member of the warehouse team, you will lead daily operations encompassing shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise warehouse shipping and receiving functions, guiding shift staff and providing training and performance feedback.
  • Ensure daily job tasks align with established instructions and SOP compliance, including meticulous documentation of device history and data entry into JDE or related systems.
  • Monitor material consumption closely, coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment, and communicate any irregularities to planners or supervisors.
  • Extract and analyze data from JDE systems, offer actionable solutions, and generate reports for management review.
  • Coordinate regular cycle counts and warehouse audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Manage material receiving processes digitally and physically, maintain orderly storage according to purchase priority, and support financial processing by supplying accurate receiving records.
  • Identify and spearhead initiatives for warehouse operational improvements.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties and visual inspections of storage conditions to uphold safety and quality standards.

Candidate Requirements

  • Diploma or equivalent with minimum 2 years of warehouse-related experience; or NITEC certificate with at least 4 years' experience; or secondary education plus 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience handling chemicals is advantageous.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office and manufacturing management systems like JDE.
  • Strong command of English in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
  • Effective communicator capable of coaching and directing team members.
  • Proven team leadership skills and knowledge transfer capability.
  • Independent worker able to follow detailed instructions and collaborate within teams.
  • Problem-solving expertise in material management activities including picking, sorting, cycle counting with JDE system proficiency.
  • Comprehensive understanding of warehouse work processes enabling direct task execution when necessary.
  • Maintenance awareness ensuring equipment meets regulatory and safety standards.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in task execution.
  • Commitment to company policies including health and safety protocols related to environmental protection and pollution prevention.
