Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of intricate components and completed medical devices using various inspection tools and equipment, operating with a high degree of independence and efficiency. Identify and escalate any production concerns to the team Lead.
- Execute functional testing on finished products employing automated and manual valve testing systems.
- Verify quality documentation, including reviewing Device History Records and approving products for internal plant shipment or distribution.
- Manage inventory controls to guarantee correct storage conditions and material movement as needed.
- Carry out general housekeeping tasks in the work area to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Secondary education is preferred.
- At least two years of experience in manufacturing and quality control within a related field.
Desired Skills and Attributes
- Basic proficiency in computer use.
- Effective communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Proficient in using appropriate tools with excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable inspection protocols and procedures.
- Commitment to continuously developing inspection capabilities.
- Clear articulation and documentation of nonconformance in the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Open to giving and receiving constructive feedback.
- Strict compliance with company policies, including health, safety, environmental, and pandemic protocols, to prevent injuries and environmental harm.
