Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with 8 to 10 years of hands-on expertise in software development, particularly strong in Java and Oracle technologies. The position involves leading technical projects, designing scalable applications, shaping database architectures, and developing APIs in an Agile working environment. Candidates with an Engineering degree or MCA will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and fine-tune Oracle database schemas with efficient SQL and PL/SQL routines to maximize performance.
• Act as a domain expert by guiding best practices, reviewing code quality, and mentoring junior team members.
• Collaborate closely with architects and product managers to outline system requirements and technical details.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex issues to maintain application stability and high performance.
• Create RESTful and SOAP web services for client application integration and support.
• Engage actively across all phases of the software development lifecycle within Agile/Scrum frameworks, from planning through deployment.
• Design and build scalable applications leveraging Java frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
• Share knowledge and collaborate effectively to address real business challenges.
• Coordinate and communicate progress, design decisions, and issue resolution with internal and external development teams.
• Perform due diligence, estimations, reviews, and design assessments on customer requirements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Deep proficiency in core Java fundamentals (J2SE), including multithreading and data structures.
• Extensive experience with Spring Framework components: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data.
• Proven skills in designing and implementing RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Strong background in Oracle database development, including advanced SQL, PL/SQL programming, database architecture, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with infrastructure support, CI/CD platforms, and tools such as Terraform.
• Proficiency in cloud services from AWS or GCP, including infrastructure management.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
