Position Summary

The role involves leading the architecture, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Python applications utilizing modern technologies and cloud-native platforms. The position requires a hybrid work model with three days per week at the Chennai office and favors immediate joining candidates.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

• Possess 7 to 11 years of progressive experience in Python application development with a strong foundation in enterprise application architecture.
• Demonstrate expertise in Python programming, including object-oriented programming, functional programming, design patterns, and clean code principles.
• Proficiency in modern Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Django REST Framework, and Flask.
• Experience designing and working with Microservices Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), REST APIs, and GraphQL.
• Hands-on practice with messaging and event-streaming platforms like Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Experience integrating GenAI, AI, or Machine Learning capabilities into applications.
• Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools like GitHub Copilot, Devin, Windsurf, or similar platforms is advantageous.
• Cloud platform experience with at least one major provider: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Competence in containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes for cloud-native deployments.
• Expertise in both relational and NoSQL databases with experience in PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and Redis.
• Strong skills in SQL query optimization and database schema design.
• Full understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including solution design, development, deployment, support, performance tuning, and monitoring.
• Capability to lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and influence architecture and design decisions.
• Possess strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven ability in building scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude.

Additional Information

Preference will be given to immediate joiners or candidates with very short notice periods. The role operates in a hybrid model based in Chennai, with three working days onsite.
