Role Overview
The Lead Process Improvement Engineer, based on-site in Qatar, is tasked with championing operational excellence within ACCIONA's projects and business divisions. The role involves analyzing current workflows to identify inefficiencies and formulating strategies to boost productivity, quality, safety, and environmental sustainability. Key activities include workflow mapping, gathering and interpreting performance metrics, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and deploying standardized procedures coupled with continuous improvement programs. Additionally, this position requires monitoring the effectiveness of implemented changes, delivering comprehensive reports and dashboards for leadership review, and guiding team members in process optimization and change management best practices. Partnering closely with project and operations management ensures all process advancements align with ACCIONA's sustainability goals and business strategies.
Key Qualifications
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement frameworks.
- Strong skills in data analysis and performance measurement, adept at leveraging analytical tools to pinpoint trends, diagnose root causes, and identify improvement opportunities.
- Experience managing projects and leading change management efforts, including stakeholder coordination and implementation oversight.
- Robust knowledge of engineering principles relevant to infrastructure, construction, energy, or water sectors.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities to collaborate within diverse, multidisciplinary, and multicultural teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; advanced degrees or certifications in process improvement are favorable.
- Proven capacity to operate effectively in complex on-site operational environments and adapt to changing business needs.
- Prior exposure to large infrastructure or sustainability-oriented projects in an international organizational setting is highly desirable.
