Job description
Overview
As a Lead Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, deployment, and upkeep of sophisticated network systems incorporating Cisco routers and switches, as well as firewalls and VPN technologies. This position requires close collaboration with various departments to understand and fulfill business network needs, and the ability to provide expert advice on network design and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and support complex network systems featuring Cisco hardware.
- Diagnose and resolve problems involving routing protocols such as OSPF, VPN connections, and firewall settings.
- Work alongside diverse teams to align technology solutions with organizational requirements.
- Offer expertise on network architecture principles and implement best practices.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5 to 10 years of professional experience in network engineering, specifically with Cisco ASA firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with NAT, VPN, and Panorama technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve intricate network problems effectively.
