About the Role
SRINAV INFO SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an experienced Gen AI Engineer specialized in Telecom Networks to enhance network operation intelligence through automation and analytics. This full-time position, based in Chennai, requires working onsite five days a week, focusing on leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies to optimize OSS platforms like NetAct, and RAN/Core networks. The role demands converting telecom operational challenges into scalable AI-powered solutions to boost network reliability, efficiency, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models addressing telecom use cases such as network anomaly detection, fault prediction, root cause analysis, traffic forecasting, capacity planning, and predictive maintenance.
- Handle diverse network data including structured and unstructured KPIs, alarms, logs, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate closely with OSS platforms (e.g., NetAct, SON) and network management systems, integrating AI models within RAN and Core network architectures.
- Implement AIOps solutions enabling closed-loop automation driven by AI insights.
- Construct and maintain data pipelines ingesting telecom data using big data technologies like Spark, Kafka, and Hadoop, ensuring data quality and performing preprocessing and feature engineering.
- Integrate AI models within CI/CD pipelines, facilitating continuous deployment and lifecycle management using containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in use case identification, solution architecture, and implementation.
- Adhere to governance, security, and compliance standards, including telecom regulations and data privacy, ensuring model explainability and robust governance practices.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5 to 8 years of professional experience in AI/ML with strong expertise in machine learning and deep learning methodologies.
- Proficiency in Python programming and libraries including NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Demonstrated experience in time-series analysis, anomaly detection, and predictive modeling.
- Solid understanding of telecom domain concepts and architecture, particularly with OSS tools like NetAct, SON, EMS/NMS.
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts, ETL pipelines, and big data platforms.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and cloud-native MLOps, including container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience with AIOps platforms and monitoring/observability tools.
- Knowledge of 5G and ORAN ecosystem standards.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI applications such as log analysis, root cause automation, and AI assistants.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding network automation frameworks.

Additional Information

- Education requirement: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech preferred, however, graduation is not strictly required to apply.
Minimum education
Master's Degree
