Role Summary

The Lead Designer in Layout holds a senior-level technical position responsible for tackling the most complex chip layout challenges. This role involves developing advanced solutions through deep analysis and specialized expertise, providing mentorship, and leading impactful projects across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design sophisticated solutions for complex problems demanding expert analysis.
• Serve as the main technical mentor for less experienced engineers.
• Manage and lead teams and projects with major business implications.
• Influence technical decisions throughout multiple organizational layers.
• Lead intricate integrated circuit (IC) layout projects and guide junior staff members.
• Make critical architectural decisions influencing product development.
• Conduct advanced evaluations and optimizations of IC fabrication processes.
• Create and implement layout methodologies and best practices to boost team performance.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience.
